About the nutz store!

How did nutz become a thing you wonder?! Let me tell you the story. Are you comfortable? This is going to take a while!

So Ellen K(nuts)en came to Ekstremsportveko (Extremesportfestival in Norway) in Voss 2015 to catch up on life. Hitting the big 40, single mum of three and with a disability. This was one of many things she was dreaming of seeing when in bed and confined to her house for about 8 years. That was the year of many first time try. Like trying out sleeping in tent again, getting cold, driving a car long distance again. Festival, party, socialising, walking with crutches, stick and so much more, completely on her own. Would she even be able to drive home after the endurance?

Let's just cut it short and tell you that she saw the light. It was amazing! The first tandem paragliding flight, the people, the sports, the music, the ambiance, the joy of accomplishments, all of it, made her come back for more!

The rest is history and now we are a whole mushy friendly family. The Nutz family!

You don't know who Ellen "nutz" is? You've seen a girl that walks behind the wheelchair as much as she sits in it; that's Nutz!!!!!! She is a walking wheelchair user. Trying sports and living her best life possible!
